her I was on to her and she has since stopped e-mailing. Her name is Elvira (never did get a last
name) and she first contacted me on lavalife. Below is a copy of what she said
on that site (BTW picture and description did not match her e-mails, my first

figured she would have given me the info. to the following e-mail (which she

gave me was Irina Smirnova,the letters that were written to Dave Armstrong were
the same that were written to me, she wrote me about ten letters and fell in love
about at the fifth one, I wondered how long it would take her to ask for money and
how much. It was about the 6th letter and to my surprise only 300 dollars, so I
wrote back and said if you really love me find the money yourself and come to
america. Well she did email me back and sent me a picture of her naked but I
still said no and she stopped emailing me. Too bad really if that is really her in
those photos she could find an american husband really fast if she were here

Hello, My name is Mike. I am a single father of 2, I am 32 years old. I am
writing to tell you my situation with someone I thought I could trust after
writing to her for almost 2 years. We started off our relationship

told me one day she was happy because she got her Visa and then another
time because she got her passport, etc. I decided to wait until I could
receive some money from my tax returns before I sent her the final amount
she needed to come because I figured I would never miss the money this way
if I never had it to begin with. She said she was happy and excited and
even went as far as sending me a flight schedule which was confirmed with
the airport. I waited for over 6 and 1/2 hours at the airport thinking the
plane was late only to have her never show up. I tried to write after that
and still no answers. It has been almost 6 months now and still no sigh
but, I decided the best way to protect someone else was to let them know of
her. Just keep in mind, after adding all the money I ever sent to her up,
it came out to over $4000.00. Don't make this same mistake, be careful. You should
probably try and go to the country yourself to meet the person before ever
sending any money. Even after you should still be careful. There are way too
many letters to post them all but I figured I would at least post a few with some

available. And then I was interviewed again, I was asked once again about the
aim of my trip to the USA and etc. I was also informed as to what I am
allowed/disallowed to do in the USA due to the tourist visa. What I should do
while going through the customs. And then they told me that I had to have some
amount of money in cash to prove my financial ability to live for some time in the
USA. You see, I cannot work by the tourist visa in your country but I have to
have some money to live for. If I have no money in cash, I will be deported
back immediately at the customs as I have no money to live for while being
in the USA. It is obvious that I have to have some money to spend and to
live if I go to a foreign country for having rest and going sightseeing by a
tourist visa. But I did not expect it would be 2500$. I am just so much devastated by the news. I am so
upset, My Love. I could have never expected that I might need so much money.
That is so devastating for me. I do need that amount of money, Darling so that
there would be no problems at the customs. I'll have to prove at the customs that
I am a reliable person and not an illegal one. I was told that I have to show this
