The letters tell the story. No money was sent. This scam was obvious after the
third letter. "Olga" uses at least three dating sites: friends.teletext.net.sg
http://loveme.ru/eng/scripts/persona1.asp?id=100641 actidate.com (from which
she was expelled) Most of the letters are prewritten, and one should notice early
on that's she's not even reading your letters. Incidentally, the pictures are
certainly not her, and there are only two. One possible real name is Olga
Balbekova, who uses the handle "Olenka22," but this is completely unconfirmed.
Shortly after the money arrangements began, I received, out of the blue, a
response from another hustler at Actidate, after a month-long quiet spell. Her
name is Irina, and she had a "new" email address to give me, solnichko2004@land.ru . This was a remarkably coincidental "test" of whether or
not I would respond to Irina. It's likely they're both from the same scammer
(unconfirmed). Some of the letters are brilliantly contrived, but the weak point of
this scammer is that she/he doesn't bother to read your letters, and any guy with
half a brain will see a serious problem long before the money issue comes up.
And the age of the alleged correspondent is also brilliant, since one can more
easily excuse the romantic excesses of a 22 year old woman than one could for
a 30 or 40 year old. Well, I've done my duty here. Seems like it's easy, though, to
avoid these scoundrels by just being alert. And I have to add that not all Russian
women using the free sites are tricksters--some are quite genuine, and poor as
well. So, guys, venture forth into that unknown world, but use common sense!

franchise. * I was originally contacted by this Yulia Zager saying she found me on
a dating website. The only one I could imagine she found my regular email
address on was Americansingles.com. We passed emails back and forth for a
couple months. I had see a "Blacklist" site for Russian woment, searched it, and
found nothing on this woman..no pictures or anything. In the back of my mind I
knew the possibility then that she could be a scammer, although I decided to
check it out. She claimed she lived with her mother whom was unemployed, her
father had passed away, and she worked as a waitress making around $70
American dollars/hour (equivalent). She claimed she had attended a university for
5 years, which was the reasoning behind her good English, and that she was an
accountant. I asked her various questions about her life which she seemed to
ignore, such as how her mother felt about our interest in each other, and about
her want to come to America, and I never got a response. I even asked her on
varying occasions to call me. I gave her my telephone number, and even said I
would purchase an international phone card and call her if she would give me her
number, but never got any sort of response. I sent first $220 as she said she
needed it for her visa. She claimed she already had her passport so it would cost
less. Then she needed over $800 for her flight tickets. I told her there was no way
I could pay that kind of cash, and she next said her mother had some cash which
her parents had been saving up for her marriage, and she would still need $217. I
thought that sounded much more reasonable, so I sent it. Then I hadn't heard
from her for a few days, then finally receive a brief email thanking me for the help
and that she'd write me the following day. Haven't heard from her since. I even
wrote a number of emails, until finally her email suddenly went bad.
