I was contacted by Marina on Kiss.com. She immediately caught me in her web
of deceit. Everything was going fine until she asked me to send her money
trough western union. Luckily for me I did not have the money readily
available. After receiving some rather erotic photos of her (which seemed
out of character) I started to think about many of the letters she had sent
me. I found this site with all of the pictures I had received as well as
letters that apart from who they were addressed to were identical to the
letters I received.

'Zavacka' and she is still there. When I read her profile I came across
the fact that in her profile the city Bishkek (in Kyrgyzstan) was listed
under the country of Cayman Islands. I wrote just a witty remark to her
on that error - she then answered that this is an error made by the marriage agency and a long
correspondence started. She prefers to be addressed as Natasha although her
name in Natalia.

I also have a telephone number of her girlfriend (she told me that this
girl doesn't speak English) as she has no phone at home.
We phoned some times on weekends, because during the week she was busy
with her work as shop assistant. Unlike the typical behavior of scammers as
described in you guide, she used to answer the questions I send her with my
letters. May be that the numbering of the photos is suspicious. Everything
seems to work regular and after a lot of e-mails and some phone calls the
question of a visit arised. She told me that a flight would cost about 380 $ via Moscow - this I could confirm. The
visa was to be done by the travel agency for 214 $. I had some discussion about the visa as I know exactly how a
private visa based on my personal invitation works and that the price is about
30 $ at our embassy. However I supposed that they may arrange for a business visa
based on a business invitation. Anyway, on this visa issue she answered:

Finally I send her the money and the correspondence stopped! No answer
anymore. I checked with a search machine whether I may find her somewhere else in
the Net. But no other trace than IwantU for me.
Now the even more critical issue: There are some indications that although the
Ladies may be individually existing, this fraud is organised. There are about 20
profiles (and coming more) of Ladies from Bishkek registered in IwantU with
this wrong country nomination Cayman Islands. They even have something in
common: They are all quite young and they don't indicate an age restriction for
their future partners. I addressed on of these other Ladies under my well
known e-mail address. I wrote her that I like her country and that a already
had a correspondence that unfortunately stopped. Guess - I didn't receive any
answer. Needless to say that most of these Ladies register their e-mail at
netmail.kg.
I just found your website today and I wanted to report immediately. I
will also take the steps you recommended: I will inform the dating site
and the e-mail provider and I will also report to the embassy of Kyrgyzstan in my country.

Hi,
I am reporting a lady I first contacted a year ago via kiss.com. Her name is
Natalia Donchenko, she lives so far as I know in Lugansk, Ukraine. There
was a phone number in one of her letters, I have called it once and a female
answered, saying Nataly was out for a few hours. She has referred to her
agency many times in her letters, but has never named it. She has written to
me every month or so and agreed to visit me in the UK. She has asked in her
last letter for $500 for her expenses for the "visit" but I have declined to
forward this money to her via Western Union. This letter was received by
myself on July 31, in which she said she would be able to fly to England on
August 24 but needed money for her visa, passport. She had not at that time
applied for documents and I doubt very much whether she would have been
able to obtain them in such a short space of time (less than 3 weeks). The
British Embassy in Kiev states on its website that summer applications for
visas by Ukraine nationals can take up to two months! They also require a
letter from the host (ie myself) confirming the visitor will be supported/accommodated during her stay. No such letter has been requested
from me by Nataly. I believe she did not intend to visit me and fear that the $500 she
requested would have gone into her pocket - end of story!

another Russian woman advised me to have Western Union Tell me where she had
picked the money up. She told me her name was Natalia Komarova. And that
she lived in Magadan, Russia. She really lives in Yoshkar-ola, Russia. I am on
AOL, she contacted me through love@aol.com. We have been writing to each other for over 3 months. She wrote to me every two days like
clockwork. I must say I was a fool. I will never let that happen again! I sent
her a letter this morning asking her how she could be in two places at once to
get the money. I am sure I will never hear from her again. She also asked for
$860.00 for the round trip plane ticket from Vladivostok, Russia to Atlanta,
Georgia. She wont be getting that from me. Western Union tells me that
another man has sent her money recently. I do hope he does catch on soon!
To tell you the truth Western Union really did not seem to concerned about
taking any action against her for fraud. What blows my mind is I researched
everything she told me about Magadan, Russia. I did believe she really lived

pictures of her, it seems all of us guys get the same ones. By the way, she says

before I lost too much money. I actually had gone to Western Union and
sent $350.00 to this despicable individual. When I returned from the Western Union, I decided to
search Natalya's town so I could talk more intelligently to her when she
arrived, and I found this web site. To my surprise, she was on the list. I was
able to contact the Western Union and retrieve my money except the $34
processing fee. After reading some of the letters she had written, a few items
have changed. She now poses as a Child Psychologist. She even sent a
picture of some children she allegedly helped in the hospital. She also has new

three photos. The first email was sent to me unsolicited via "Korean Friend
Finder", where she went under the handle "Sovet2000". Some of the letters
are identical to those sent to Charles, also listed on this web site, and were
obviously sent off without any attempt to relate to the content of the emails I
sent to "Natasha". The whole thing only lasted about ten days. Presumably the
idea behind "Natasha's" scam is to send the targeted man a series of pre-written emails with more or less random content, without attempting either
to produce a reply related to the emails he sends back or to answer specific
questions he asks. There's almost no work involved in composing the letters,
and if you send them to enough men, some are bound to bite. The emails
themselves bear a very strong resemblance to the English produced by a bad
translating program rather than to the English that might be expected from a
Russian with a rudimentary knowledge.

Her handle on Friend Finder was Natasha, (a caress for) Natalya
Jitinkina. She wanted money sent to her via Western Union in Yoshkar-Ola. Her
address, House 32B, Apt. 73, Lebediba Street there. All I can say about her,
or whoever did the writing was good at it. We wrote back and forth for a
month before she hit me up for $340, so she could buy her passport and Visa
through a transport company. I read here that a Visa could only be obtained
from the American Embassy in Moscow. She said she worked at a children's
hospital. She made no attempt to give me a phone number where I could reach her after asking several times, complaining that I
didn't trust her. I went so far as to purchase the tickets for her to travel
here, sent her conformations of this, but she still insisted on me sending
the money. I did cancel the tickets, but the heart is still on the mend. She
said she had never married, but if you look at the pictures closely, she is
wearing a wedding ring. In Russia, The ring is worn on the right hand, fourth
finger of course. She also gave me an address but said the postal service
there was always drunk and she would probably not receive any letters I would
mail to her. Not much else to say except, she clamed she was a 27 year old
