Her letters are personal, and are not of the "form letter" type. She may try to reach you by phone, but strangely her number will be registered on caller ID as from St. Louis. Typically, she fell in love with me within two weeks, and asked for Visa money within three weeks. I did an "address verification" on her through Flamingo services, and they confirmed that this Lyudmila has not lived at the address she listed for four years. I am a 44 year old recently divorced man, and I have had profiles posted at many sites. Truebeginnings.com, Truelove.com and Agematch.com seem to be the sources of many of the Russian scam letters. (I have not corresponded yet with any Russian woman who did not turn out to be a scammer...so that means 100% of the Russian women who have contacted me have been scam artists!) I deleted most of the emails this person sent, but I was always suspiscious of her, based on my past experiences. By the way, I have never been scammed out of a single penny...too smart!
This woman called herself Julia, Juliya and Yuliya alternatively. When I asked her questions, she never answered, but kept sending me gushing emails about her, her life, and then shortly thereafter, how much she loved me. She called me "my love Scott" and "my man" and other such things. I realized later why she never answered my questions...she never read any of my emails! I discovered this by using www.didtheyreadit.com, a service that will notify you when a sent email is opened and read. She kept sending emails to me, but never even opened the ones I sent her. The letters she sent were very similar to the ones posted by Tony about Juliya from Orenburg Russia. Needless to say, after about a month of letters, she finally sent the one where she asked for money for a Visa and Ticket.
This is the only email I have...I deleted all the others...but it has several pictures of her.
