My name is Eric and i was contacted by :Elena of Kanash, Russia which she states is closest to Moscow. I was contacted by her after she saw my profile on millionaire.com. Her initial email address was, beauty1fine@millionaire.com. She stated that she had a regular email address to use and gave me elena_p80@front.ru and it stated she was from Texas on her profile, which was gone 2 days later. I wrote to her for 2 weeks and i just found out today she is on the black list. her emails to me were cut and pasted just as the black list showed them along with the same photo. after asking her direct questions and not getting the answers I wanted, I decided to do a little research when she signed one of her letters "Olya", by mistake. When i confronted her on this she said Olya was her last name. I ran a search for @front.ru and came up with a hyperlink to this site on the black list. I first ran a search for Elena, and I got nothing. Then I decided to try "Olya" and Bingo! there was her picture and same letter she wrote me. Well, i was lucky I figured this out early in the game. I have lost nothing but a broken heart. Attached is 2 other photos not on the web page. Advise for the others, I hope you were as smart as me to research these women, and catch them before it is too late. Be careful, Eric.

Hi, Elena. I just read the "Anti Scam Guide" and it helped solidify in my mind that I was in touch with a scammer. (ug!). I still don't want to believe it...but I know it's true. She contacted me first and followed just like your example #1. I have attached the text of the 6 emails below as well as photos. In #4 she sent me a "special" photo of her holding up a paper that said hello with my name on it. It took under two weeks and only 6 mails to ask for the $1000 to go through "Elite Tour Agency" 100% guarantee etc...just like her "girlfriend had done" before. She did offer to ICQ chat, but never did. Emails came through at almost the same time every day. In my last mail I used some of your question techniques to nail down her address and to let her know that I would find others ways of meeting instead of sending money. Haven't heard from "her" since... Hope this helps others not fall for Evgenia! I was not looking for a Russian bride but if I do (and may now)..I will get your other book as well. Good Job! I am a single, white, american male, age 37, divorsed, no kids. I was orginally contacted on 3 Jun 2004, thru Yahoo Personals until I discovered the truth on 25 Jun 2004. She was really good and detailed in her letters. She said she lived in a small flat, and didn't have a phone. She said she had been divorsed for 2 years and didn't trust Russian men and wanted to move to the United States, and hopefully marry an American man. Here is the first email from Evgenia, and the email where she tells me how much money she would need for her Visa, and plane ticket. I removed the street address from the email she sent me because I found out it did exist, but an elderly couple lives there. That is when I did some research and found out she was a scammer. Hello, my name is Tim and i live in New Hampshire USA. I am 34 years old, i want to report a scammer going by the name of Marina Marmash living in Ekaterinburg, Russia her e-mail is star777girl@yandex.ru,i wish I had known about your sight sooner before this evil bitch scammed me of $2,685, it started with an ad on yahoo which was sent to me I don't know how but I fell for her picture and started writing beginning of may 2004,she claimed she wanted to visit and went to Siberia travel agency and got the info, I don't know if this is a real travel agency they have a website but wont respond to my questioning about Marina, total for the trip $985 she said she had $300 so I first sent $685,next it was her visa claimed she went to the consulate of our country and was told she would need $2,500 to cover her expenses while being abroad and this was verified by the travel agency, she said her parents could borrow $500 so I stupidly sent $2000 via western union, all was then well her visa was approved and was supposed to fly on June 19th all the flight times were perfect, went to the airport with flowers and stood there waiting like a fool and no one shows up, get home very pissed off and get an e-mail saying she was robbed at Moscow airport and lost everything and police couldn't help her i smelled a Russian rat as she wanted another $2500 and said she could fly on the 22nd sorry bitch not this time I told her I didn't have it she claimed to be staying at the airport, I sent her a very nasty e-mail and threatened to have her arrested, last response I got was marina suicide because wanted to be with you, what a joke watch out guys this bitch is very good she says all the right things, tells you she loves you and sucks you into her trap, well she really broke my heart and pissed me off now I wont stop till she is arrested I'm sure the money is gone but now it is my mission to make sure no one else gets screwed, I have notified her e-mail provider and will be contacting the FBI, western union and the Russian embassies thanks for your website and letting me report this scammer.
