Hi! My name is Joel and I am a 30 year old male living in Minnesota. I was contacted by "Tatyana" through the yahoo.com personals website. She left me a message with her email address as tatyanaronzhina@ru.com. I replied and started receiving emails that included a picture with each one. The pictures started out as poses from professional studios. The emails were very long with a lot of information. She says she has to use the pc at work in the bar because she doesn't have one at home. By the sixth email, claims she is madly in love with me and talks about nothing else. Being that none of my direct questions had been answered, I suspected that this was a scam. The picture included with this letter has her with dyed hair. If you look closely in the background you'll notice that the words on the wall are not Russian! I decided for kicks to play along. Seventh letter is more of the same. Letter eight says she needs to quit because a
co-worker talks bad about me and wants to get a visa and come over now. I emailed her and told her things were moving too fast and said she needed to wait. Sure enough, the ninth letter requested money for a visa. While debating what to do next, I did some researching on the internet and came upon this website and discovered that this "woman" had written the same letters word for word under several different aliases. Just for kicks, I sent them to the bank twice for nothing. Thought I would at least have a little fun of my own. I did report it to the FBI and to Western Union in case there was another person in the process of being scammed under that alias. I have enclosed four of the pictures I received.
