I want to thank you for your article that you had posted about one of the
scammers using the model, Leatitia Casta, pictures. After reading your article I
did a search at www.lycos.com on her name and found one of the very pictures
that this girl had sent me. This very night I was getting ready to send her $750
through western union. She had figured out that she could come to stay with me
here in Florida, if I sent her $1590, but I told her that I would take care of the plane
ticket after she handled the legal problems on her side, with the $750 I would
send her. This web site saved me a lot of money today. After all the letters that
we had going back and forth to each other, I would have gladly spent that money,
if it was all true. We were talking marriage and starting a family and the whole
works. This is the lowest kind of scam artist that I have ever been involved
in. For all I know, I was sending my letters to some guy who is making a fortune off of us
rich Americans. Tonight I was going to send her a nasty letter back about finding
out that she seems to work for Victoria's Secret and is already here in the US,
but instead I sent her a letter and told her I changed my mind and want to get a
round trip ticket so I can come over and meet her parents. I explained to her that I
have enough vacation time saved up so that I can come over there and wait for
her, while the legal issues are cleared up, and then we can fly back to the US
together. Since I am curious about the response that I will now be receiving from
this letter, I am not going to post her address at this time. I will post the name
that she told me, which is, Eugenia Mikhailova. Here is how she worked the
letters she sent me.

Hello, here a scam-report about a lady already mentioned a few times:
Ina Adamova Minsk Belarus; she still says she is a
children's doctor. Because I live in Europe, have been in Russia twice, know a lot
of Eastern-Europe I proposed a meeting during my vacation in Poland (she then
could simply take a cheap bus and would not need any visa); and guess what: I
then got an email that her father had suddenly died and so she had to go with her
mother to their home-town; and exactly during the 22 days of my
vacation..... I
later didn't feel comfortable anymore so stopped all contacts; happily she could
not even ask me for money as it was not needed yet.
I am a Dutch man, 38, divorced, no children,
was contact originated from 2 different free advertisements of her, 1 address
I can't remember anymore, the other: www.sols4sols.com; it lasted about 2,5
months; seemed to be very serious but the fact that her "out-of-town because
father's death"; exactly in the period we could meet easily made ring a bell
in my head. Also the fact that later when I tried to phone the number was
inoperative didn't improve my thinking positive. Finally the fact that she
claimed some emails didn't came. I wrote a letter about the not-so-positive image of her country and esp.
her president on which came a short email; I think she realized I wasn't
going to be fooled: an American is easier to fool because of the long distance, and because most of them never been before
in FSU; I on the contrary have been there, now a lot and have enough bells in my
head that ring on time; although I must confess that if she had been more
"normal" I maybe would have been fooled also. But I have a simple policy: when
someone (that is an agency or a person) ask for money all contacts are
terminated: it's the only 100% way to be sure not to loose any money. To any
agency I simply reply that I'm happy to pay for example USD 150 but only after
any marriage. Any scams are this way eliminated as they just want money, no
marriage. The final of the story was my silence: I just have thrown away all
emails, photos etc. I haven't have any photos anymore but 1 was the same as in

unbearable. I was able to create a fake screen name and send her an email
stating that I was interested in her. She immediately sent me a return letter with
the exact same format letter she had originally sent my other email address, not

This has been going on for about a month or so I should have raised a flag when I
sent flowers for her birthday and they called and said there was no such address!!
She tried to explain this as Russian mail I sent them thru FTD so was a bunch of
crap!! But I then asked for the address where she worked she never did give it to
