I was one of the luck ones! Thanks to your web site, I found out about this scammer early!

In about her 2nd email she told me that she lived in Serov Russia so I did an internet search for Serov to see if I could find out where exactly in Russia she lived. The search took me directly to an article on the womenrussia.com blacklist to a posting about Yulia Solovyova (Serov, Russia) and after reading it, I would bet it's the same exact person since the style and content were almost identical and just a few facts had changed. I thank this site for helping me figure out I was about to be scammed and lost no money.

About me 39 years old, recently divorced. Live in Colorado. Received the first email towards the end of September 2004. Was contacted under Yahoo Personals, no profile came with the contact email address of Natashlove@list.ru. Was a period of 2 weeks when I never heard back from her. I have been contacted quite a bit from yahoo on from scammers that I read her like a book. She has almost identical letters to some of the ones I read in the scammers report so I am sure its just a new MO. Never really requested money until this last email. She wanted around 570 US dollars for passport, visa, and medical expenses associated with it. Wanted it to be sent Western Union to Alfa Bank, republiki 162, Tyumen, Russia. When asked any questions about herself she never answered any, its what I like to call form letters. She always used my name right and never used any others. Unfortunately I deleted her first letters but will post the last four I received. In the beginning she went by Natasha then later just went by Natalia. Alan

Natalya Ivanovna (Serov, Russia)

I'm a 38 year old male. This Natalya scammer saw my ad on webdate.com and emailed me. In about her 2nd email she told me that she lived in Serov Russia so I did an internet search for Serov to see if I could find out where exactly in Russia she lived. The search took me directly to an article on the womenrussia.com blacklist to a posting about Yulia Solovyova (Serov, Russia) and after reading it, I would bet it's the same exact person since the style and content were almost identical and just a few facts had changed. My story is typical. By the 2nd or 3rd email she was madly in love with me and wanted to meet me so bad she was going to spend her life savings to come visit me. All along I was like, go for it, but I'm not paying for anything but she still kept writing. It's pretty obvious they're form letters and if I was lucky she'd jam a few sentences usually at the bottom answering my questions. In about her 12th letter she requested 400 USD to help her pay for the airfare, claiming she had already paid for the Visa and part of the airfare, and supplied a picture of her Visa in the final email. That's my story. I thank this site for helping me figure out I was about to be scammed and lost no money. Below are some pictures of Natalya, but most likely they're of some amateur Russian model.

Once she sent a picture of her Visa, I simply forwarded that email to the US embassy in Russia, asking them if she was real or if she was a scammer and it only took a day for someone at the US embassy to write back the following: 
I am sorry to tell you that the person that you were in contact with does not exist and has never applied for a visa. The visa that you attached is completely fraudulent. You have been targeted by a very common Russian Internet scam being used to defraud American men. These people create false Internet profiles and send what appear to be legitimate correspondences. They usually misinform the victim about travel expenses that do not exist and/or they inflate the cost of the expenses that do exist. They lure the American in with e-mails, pictures and fake visas in an attempt to prove their good intentions. Almost always something happens and they "can't leave the country". They either "get injured and are in the hospital" and a "member of the family" contacts you for more money or a "member of the family" needs an emergency operation and therefore will need more money, or they are stuck at the airport and are not allowed to board until they can show they have xxx amount of dollars to cover their expenses while in the US. At some point they claim to have been robbed of the money that was sent. Again, their purpose is not to immigrate to the US, but to get as much money as possible from the victim. Many men have lost anywhere between $400 to $11,000 because they continued to send money without suspicion. Unfortunately, we have been unsuccessful in our attempts to gain the cooperation of the Russian authorities concerning this issue. Therefore, understand that any money you sent was at your own risk. In the future I would suggest that you visit our website in order to verify the visa application process and to "google" her name as many victims of this scam have created websites that serve as blacklists for these "woman". I was most happy the person at that time. But this firm not only makes visas, it also reserve tickets. I decided to use their service again. I have bought the ticket on a train up to Moscow. I paid a part of the ticket. But this money is not enough. I don't want to burden you. I want to reach you with my own money but unfortunately I have failed. Now I have to pay the remaining part. Olga Orehova (Ekaterinburg, Russia)

I am a 51 year old divorced male in the USA. I was first contacted by this scammer on October 20, 2004 through webdate.com. (Two other scammers have also contacted me through the same site which I will report on when the money requests are made.) This is the typical money for visa/airfare scam. She claims to be able to get passport and visitors visa in 6 days. This scam is more sophisticated in that I was given the name and e-mail address of a travel agency to contact after the money request was made (I had requested this information about the agency). When I wrote to that e-mail address (supposedly the agency) I asked if I could pay by credit card. I was told I could pay to their bank account but not by use of a credit card, or I could transfer money by Western Union to their agency director. When I asked about the first option I was given the full info, but the bank account given was for an individual rather than for the travel agency. Rus Travel is a real agency but this is obviously a fake e-mail address the scammer is using to pose as them. The responses I got from the fake agency would always come within 5 minutes of the e-mails from the Olga person I was dealing with, and sometimes at what would have been in the middle of the morning their time. I will continue a little while longer to see how far they will take this but I wanted it reported quickly to tip off other potential victims. James G. USA.

All what I need for my coming to you it is ticket "there-back", visa, my foreign passport. I find out the cost of all this and now I have 2 news for you. One bad and one good. The ticket Moscow-Salt Lake-Moscow cost $865 USD. The making of the visa is cost $283 USD. The making of the foreign passport is cost $157 USD. Also I need the ticket from my city up to Moscow which cost $66 USD. All this cost I need $1371 USD. The bad news is that I don't have all this money. All what I can get by myself and with help of my parents is $436 USD. I don't know what to do. I so upset that such thing as money stand between our meeting. And now the good news. If I have all money then the making of all documents what I need for my coming to you will take 6 days. The making of the my foreign passport take 2 days. And making of visa take 4 days. Hi my ****! I do not have the laptop computer. I write to you from Internet-cafe. The manager of Internet-cafe has trained me how to address with a computer. Today I've got acquainted with a woman in the Internet Cafe who shared with me a great joy. She told me that she found her man with help of the Internet. The eyes of this woman were really lighted by the happiness. She said that very soon she would visit this man. I still keep a great joy in my heart for this woman.!!! Two people have found each other. There is no something more beautiful than people who love each other. I believe in Destiny and God. God helps to the acquaintance of lovers and the Destiny gives the possibility, the chance them to have the meeting. Do you trust in God? If it is so, what religion do you chose and why. As for me I am a Christian. Every morning I need to get up very early for to be in time at my work. My work is placed far from my home. I live in the hostel. I have a very good neighbour. It is a nice and kind woman, I like her very much., I come to her every day. We have a long and lasting friendship, which was checked up by the time and life a lot of times. You can see the flat of my neighbour on the photo. On the photo: I and my girlfriends: Marina, Svetlana and Irina. They are my good friends. I visit my neighbour very often because I like to do it very much. Do you have pets. Do you like animals, if yes, what animals do you like more and why? I have a small flat(room) in hostel. There are a lot of people in our hostel, rooms are very small, walls are thin and it is very easy to hear what is going on through the neighbour's wall. Often shouts are heard through the walls, it isn't easy to fall asleep, to relax, to read my favorite book or magazine. And that is why I don't like this hostel, but I can't allow to myself to rent the normal flat. It is too expensive in our town. After the divorce my husband and I divided our general property and my husband had good lawyer for to take away the flat from me! That is why now I live in hostel. I couldn't even think that my husband will be able to act with me so. certainly there are very bad living conditions in hostel but I have not any choice - _ I need to put up with such situation. But I don't lose heart, I believe, I hope that things will sort themselves. I think that people always must hope on the best otherwise it is not real to survive in this difficult and very cruel world. I think we must find positive sides in everything what happens in our life! It is my rule which helps me to go on the difficult living way. Please tell me about the place where do you live, about your house or flat. It will be very interesting for me to get to know about it.
