I am a retired widower from the northeastern USA. In early November 2004, I came across this ad on Yahoo personals by someone who pretended to be in New Hampshire, but turned out to be really in Russia. Her Yahoo personals profile, and the Yahoo email address she gave, were soon deleted. She did call me on the phone once at midnight, briefly, but the connection was soon broken after a quick hello. She wanted to visit me here in the US and I replied that I would be glad to have her do so, but that I had no money to send her, and that friends had warned me about scams. I have heard nothing further from her. from

Hello dear Doc! Thanks for your letters, I am very glad that you have wanted that we have learned each other better. Accept my condolences on your wife. It is very difficult for me to describe myself but I shall try to make it most full that you could imagine me. As you already know my name Maria, me 28 years, my birthday on October 23. I live in Russia, Perm and never was in other country. I have no relatives or friends in other country. I have not children but I love very much children. I the only child in family. My parents live in the other city in the Perm area. Certainly I have my parents and we with him love each other, but without loved man a life and pleasures do not bring full satisfaction and happiness. I am divorsed and now I want to find the man which will be my favourite husband because my previous experience was unsuccessful. SCAMMER: Anna Petrova (AKA Elena Kruchinina / Ludmila Tarasova / Irina Egorova / Anastasiya Pershutkina / Nadezhda or Svetlana Kurmakova. I am a single white male , 44 years old, Self-employed and lives in Windhoek, Namibia. The initial contact was via Matchmakers (www.Matchmaker.co.za <http://www.Matchmaker.co.za> ) of which I am currently still a member. In my approach via email to MatchMaker support and providing them with info about the scam etc. they were not concerned to make an issue about it, neither offering any assistance of any kind. Anna and I had communication for approx. 3 months before the can of worms was opened and after she scammed me out of a HUGE amount (US$5076). More info about the scam below. All details regarding to whom the money was sent etc is in the report below, as well as a few emails where money was mentioned or requested. The following website address is an eye-opener: http://svetlana.4t.com/photo.html <http://svetlana.4t.com/photo.html>. I was scammed by the Queen herself - she has so many aliases it makes one head spinning like a wheel! I met her on Match Makers (www.matchmakers.co.za <http://www.matchmakers.co.za> ) operated by Dating Buzz. Initially she was contacted on the petrianita name( 2nd email address in No.5 on list. The passport photo was send to me by Evgeni Domrachev today 4 December 2004. It clearly shows the wrong signature and other information. Scammer's Details: Anna Petrova (aka Aniyta, Annochka, Anita, Svetlana Kurmakova, Anastasiya, Nadezhda or then better known as Elena Kruchinina - Selehov, Russia), Birthday given as: 11 July 1978. She has also given this information: "My nameplate data 8803683956". Lives at Kirov Street, House 19, Apartment 44 and/or 24 WORK address was given as Gagarin 37, Krasyonarsk ?? The telephone number 9276833275 was provided as number with contact person "Evgeni Domrachev". I have spoken to "her" on this number once. There is also an Aleksey Efremov involved. Monies send to her went to Aleksey's account as the "so-called" Financial Director of the Agency. All details of account to which monies were send to appear towards the bottom of email (After her emails). Emails she used: 1) petrianita [petrianna@runbox.com ], annochka [annochka@fromru.com], äëÿ åâðåÿ [evramin@runbox.com] and Evgeni's email address: viktoria [mailto:viktoria99@front.ru] <mailto:[mailto:viktoria99@front.ru]>. We corresponded then I invited her to come visit me and we started to arrange tickets/VISA etc. All ticket enquiries/info was send to me by Evgeni Domrachev on email as supplied above. ALL monies (US$1706 & US$1500 & US$1870 = US$5076) were transferred via my own bank. See emails attached below where-in money/funds were asked for. Upon investigation it was confirmed that Russians DON'T NEED A VISA to visit Namibia. Yohann.V. (Windhoek, Namibia).

There has been a flood of scammers using that site and I have had many contacts through it. There are no warnings posted anywhere on that site about scams. The same pictures of this woman were used in another scam using the name Alexandra Kutina form Samara, Russia (Black List pages 284 and 297). The e-mail address used was bluza_e@mail.ru. This one is quite well done and very deceptive. When I was asked for money for the visa and airfare ($800 after the portion that she would put in) I pointed out that it would be impossible for her to get a visa to the US. They didn¹t miss a beat and came up with an elaborate and plausible sounding story to get around that. This one is also fairly responsive to questions and the problems posed. James G. (USA)
