I have attached both the opening letter and then the request for money--in this case $443 to fly her to Seattle. I also found an identical letter to another man written by a different woman (?) on this site. I have informed Yahoo about Marina and also posted a scam report on Great Cities.com, Russian Detective.com, anti-scam.org. DO NOT SEND THIS WOMAN MONEY! She is one of the best!

Natasha stated she was on the internet looking up some information she
stumbled across my personal and picture. First mistake Natasha made as I don't have my picture on any web site personal. Then led to emails of her life, who she was, and she was longing to spend her life with someone and had no one. Parents were killed in a car accident. Attempted to get me to pay for air fare at first after 5 emails stating that she would have to fly to Moscow and needed 200 dollars to pay for Visa, Physical exam, and then needed money for air fare but her wording upset me so she stated that she would borrow money from friends and not for me to worry about the money any longer. As she works in the city of Bratsk and lives in the countryside she only gets to the city every other day. She went to school at the University and educated in Teaching but salary was so low, she has to work as I waitress to pay her bills but loves teaching in the local schools. Talked about loving children. Then after many emails said her air fare was 220 dollars higher than she anticipated. I sent her that money via Western Union. Then Natalia emailed me again stating that she had visa, airline tickets but needed 500 or 550 dollars to have in her possession to prove to customs she had the money to get back in and would give it back to me when she got here. Bad mistake on her part as my Aunt and Uncle are Ambassadors for the US for over 30 years and I contacted my Aunt to find out what garbage the Customs people as I was told by Natasha, were telling her as I have flown in and out of 24 different countries and knew that Customs dept authority did not limit travel due to availability of funds on person traveling and was told by my Aunt that she was lying as to the procedure. I contacted Aerophot Airlines asking them since I did not know Russian Policy or laws governing getting a tourist visa and was told by reservationist that it is not necessary to show proof of any funds as I knew to be true. I then talked to Russian Travel experts and was told by them and my aunt that travel visas are issued by the US Embassy not the Russian Embassy and that the majority of Tourist Visa's were denied without an extensive background check and the easiest visa to get was a Fiance' Visa but then there is an investigation to see if the couple has actually met, has the US citizen actually flown to Russia and seen each other or had phone calls to each other. It was then I realized she was trying to just get money. Sad thing is my net worth is over $6.5M Us and as she didn't know this, did not try to get a lot of money from me.

I have celebrated new year is remarkable!!! Unfortunately was very much coldly
and at us the camera has broken... Therefore I cannot brag photos since new

the Embassy. She had $500.00, I sent $2500.00 Western Union to Alfa

She did not just take the money and run but contacted me to give me the exact flight #s. She made her first mistake by giving me the wrong arrival
city. I was worried she would be lost if she arrived and I was not there to meet
her. I went to my airport to correct her final destination and Delta did not have
her on there manifest. She was also to arrive on her birthday Feb.23, 1977
Making her 28 yrs old. Total scam $4500.00 plus all I spent for her to buy food,

the 18th letter was the last. when i found out this was a scam. i started
trying to get her to undress. the photos got closer and closer but never
went fully. i figured why not try and see if they would send me a nude
picture. also i told her to hold a sign that said my name. to prove that it
was her in the pictures. she never did. i dont know if it is her in the
photos, but i did get them to call me. i never sent the money but it was
close. thank everyone that put this site and other like them together. with
