together this website. I posted a personal ad on match.com. I was not
looking for anyone other than maybe a friend from my own city. When this
women calling herself Larisa from Tyumen Russia wrote to me I thought it
might be a novelty. So I wrote to her a few times and ask some very specific questions. When she didn't answer any of
my question I thought I would look up her town on the internet so that we might
have a common point of reference, you know talk about her town and all. That is
when I found your website. I was intrigued by it so I started reading some of the
stories. I noticed that even though I had only written to this women (at
larisamem@pochtamt.ru) a couple of times the pattern seemed to fit. Then I
was blown away when I saw the exact same pictures she sent to me listed as
another name in another place in Russia. Even though we haven't gotten to
the stage where she will ask me for money, I know now it is coming. I was
only interested in talking to her as a pen pal with no romance intended.
So, I know that I can quit wasting my time writing to her since this is
definitely a scam. Thanks for putting this information out there for people
to avoid these kind of pitfalls.

I have just had my first e-mail correspondence with a russian girl and it turned out
to be a scam. Fortunately it was clumsy and very obvious to spot. She placed an
advert on matchdoctor as "Galant 546" ,and said she was located in England. In
the first email she then 'reveals' she actually lives in Ukraine, which put me on my
guard to some extent. She responds to e-mails daily, so the entire duration before
asking for money is about 1 week.
The money request came in only the 4th email from her. It is almost identical to
the scam letter you already quote for Pasha Samohvalov (Kherson), but you
already have her on your site as Marina Konstantinova (Kherson, Ukraine) with a
different letter. Her email has changed too

In fact having found your site and seen 'How to spot a scammer' she breaks
virtually every rule on there. This must be a bad start for me - the first girl to be in
contact with, and she is a scammer.
Keep up the good work, I like your site a lot as it seems more honest and
genuinely helpful than the others I have found.

I am a divorced guy from Belgium, 32 years old and now searching for about 3
months for a foreign bride.
In your blacklist I discovered the story about a girls mother being hit by a car. Be
careful for this car story. I have been scammed recently (1 week ago) with this
story by MARINA KONSTANTINOVA (Kherson) by a new email address of her
decor478@gmx.net. It seems to me she is always using the same scenario.
Reading your blacklist I have the feeling this girl is the same as MARINA KOOP
(Kherson) also ELEONORA BELOVA (Odessa, she used at least the same story) an PASHA SAMOHVALOV
(Kherson). I want to warn all of you that this story is still sent around!!!
Fortunately, I did not sent money as I knew already everything thanks to this excellent blacklist!
Please do never respond on letters from this beautiful girl. These are all the
pictures she sent me.
