She wrote to my Yahoo Personals ad. She asked me to send a response to yliagirl@mail.ru. That was theaddress she always used. In the beginning , and the end she signed her name as Ulia. She always replied tomy letters as if I was the light of her dark life. She gave her birthdate as March 15, 1975. Although she never mentioned it, she is attuned to astrology. She seemed to know, instinctively, exactly what to say to me. In astrology, she would be a Pisces, like me! And Pisces people always know how to treat each other. I could sense, from the intensity of our letters, that we were going to say "I love you" to each other at exactly the same time. In the first pics she sent me she was wearing a name badge, which translated from cyrillic to roman characters clearly read: Yulya. I explained to her that in German and Scandinavian, it would be "Julia". She began to sign her letters as Julia, apparently to blend her name with mine (Jim). I must say that I truly believe that a female was writing to me all of this time. All of her letters were very poetic, and intimate but not explicit The grammar was not perfect, but understandable. Every letter had the enthusiasm of a teenager with her first love. And the style of writing was very unique. I believe she was enjoying the dialogue, in spite of the pushy boyfriend looking over her shoulder.  It was only 2 weeks when theonly request for money arrived. The day after we had declared love for each  other. There were no demands here. Just a very cautious explanation of what itwould cost for her to fly to America to meet me. She offered to try to pay whatever she could. The next day, she called me. The phone connection was not good but understandable. I told her that I thought it best that I come to her first, and meet her family.She agreed with this. The next morning I had an e-mail from her, describing the phone conversation. And signing as "Elena" When I told her of this mistake, she replied with a somewhat believable excuse. That she had left her e-mail open, and someone she knew had filled in  the name "Elena" as a prank! I did not fully believe this, so I decided to send her a rose, to the address she gave me. The florist told me that the apartment was empty, and the residents had moved out the previous week, according to the neighbors. I do not hate this Yulya. I am sad for her. She spent much time  and emotion writing these beautiful lettersto me! She is truly talented, so sad that she used her talents to betray someone for so little money. She never asked for more than 600 USD. In fact, she seemed to be willing to help pay for as much of it as possible. Except for one glaring mistake, I might still be in contact with her.

This  tourist visa B-2, the visitor visa will valid during six months. On this type of visa I'll can travel till your country without any  restrictions. The price of this  visa, as Marina was informed in embassy, is 330 US dollars.s  Besides the  process of the registration of the visa costs 75 US  dollars. By the way Natasha aunt Marina as has taken an interest about  other kinds of the visas too, as to her have said,  that there is a set of kinds of the visas. For example, visa of a bride. Marina has  thought that this visa of bride approaches to us, but her in Embassy  have said that this visa costs more expensively and visa's  registration costs a lot of money. It's around 650 dollars your  country and the registration of the visa will during seven months, it is very long and expensive! From it because the tourist visa B-2 is the betterest variant than visa of bride now for us my love Steven! My love Steven, I want to ask you one thing my Steven,  I will need to ask your help with a financial charges for the getting all necessary documents for my coming to you, Steven. As  probably, may be you know an economic situation in our country, simply it's awful, and at our bar don't give the salary to work personal during a long  time. Our government explains it to those that simply they don't have  a money, it's a difficult financial situation, and they don't have a  recourses on the salary for the any kind of the job in total. Hello Steven, is very glad that you have answered my letter. You probably havea lot of questions why I have written to you, you, Steven I can not precisely answer to you this question. Simply there can be a heart (at us of the women good intuition) has prompted to me it, or I simply have seen at your person and has decided to write to you. My name is Gregg and I am 33 years old. Back in January I received a letter from Tatyana. At first I was suspicious because I have heard of men getting scammed, so I visisted a number of sites including this one, to see if her name appeared anywhere. Since I did not find her name anywhere, I assumed that she was for real. Well we wrote to each other for about two months and everyhing seemed to be going well. She never came right out and asked for money, but she hinted at it very strongly. She wanted to come and see me but she did not have the 300 dollars for the visa. She said that it would only take 3 weeks to get the visa and that made no sense to me because I have heard that it takes a lot longer than that. The point at when I started to have doubts was when I would get letters saying that she loved the letter I sent, when I had sent her no letter for a few days. Then I went over the letters she had sent and saw that there were discrepencies in her information on how long she could stay here. In one letter she stated that she could stay for 3 years; in another she said she could stay for 6 months; and in another she said she could stay for 1 year. I was a bit confused. Then the last letter I received she wrote that she was very glad to hear that my mom sends warm wishes. BINGO!!! I had never even mentioned my mother to her!! So I wrote her back and asked her about it, and also about the different information she gave me. Haven't heard from her since then. So I decided to come back to this site and sure enough, I saw her name and picture twice. She is using a form letter and just putting in a guy's name that she happens to be writing. The letter she sent to Jeff is the exact same letter that I got from her.

Here is my scam, her name is Svetlana sorry little girl but you can't scam someone that lives in Australia that knows when a scam is about. Unfortunatly for her and thankfully for me I didn't get caught up with her filthy emotions saying that "her parents had died". BOOHOOHOO it's so tragic when you lie about your parents dying it's even more tragic to steal someone's heart. 

Thankfully for my friends and the mateship in AUSTRALIA we have learn't about scams like this and we're able to save friends and mates hearts from being destroyed as this is the Australian way. Look out blokes there is plenty of bad ones out there.

When I was going to Internet Cafe I thought that there would be nothing in my email box. And when I saw your letter there I was pleasantly shocked. It is unbelievable that you got my letter and decided to answer me! Well, if you want to know the truth I didn't think that you would be interested in me. It is so great that everything happened so! You just can't imagine what feelings I have now, what emotions.., what thoughts are in my mind now. Well, let's get acquainted! My name is Svetlana. I am 25 years old. My weight is 52 kg and my height is 168 cm, I will send you my pictures in the next letters and you will be able to see that my weight and height are not big! Some men want only one from women - only sex! And in a result it turns out that it is practically  impossible to find the love in Russia. I lost the belief to find my love in Russia and decided to try to do it abroad. Please don't think that I have the overestimated self-estimation or I am too exacting to men. I have to recognize that there are very little worthy men in Russia; unfortunately I didn't meet the men who can make me happy in Russia, but.... I don't lose the hope! I don't want to despair. Good day Aussie OI ! How are you! Thank you for your answer! What is new? How is your mood? And I am o.k! I was glad to get to know something new about you! And it was so strange that I have written so much about myself in the my last letter! Probably you inspire me trust. I was very open with you! And I hope on the same trust from your side. i am so open with you that I'd like to tell something if the story of my life. As you could understood I have uneasy destiny! I have lost my mother when I was only 2 years old! She got in automobile failure. She was in the bus which fell in the river from the bridge. All people who were there dead and my mother too... It was very tragic for my father and for all our small town I was too small too. It was the event which shake our town, there were written in the newspaper about that. A lot of people dead and their close people and all town together with them mourn the people who went our tragically.  at all I do not remember mother. Father told me that I was too little to understand what did really happen. Father couldn't forget my mother and was nobody with him after this tragic death of my mother. He too loved my mother and he couldn't find woman like my mother in his life. He did not want to see any other woman near to me except for mum. Father educated me alone. It was difficult for him but he overcame that. And I admire him very much! I loved my father. It was just impossible not to love him. Every who knows him respect him, love him. It says that he was very good man. And it was so hard to go through the loss of him. It is still difficult for to say about it.I am sorry, but I still can' t talk about it. I so ready today to receive a mail from you! And I so glad to see, that you received my mail and answered! Thank you for pics. I like it very much. And I so happy that you understood my entire letter! I would like to continue our correspondence and I hope you too! So, I will write you more.

Dear Rick, I understand most in your letter! But I not sure now I have no much time to read it more carefully. I undesrstood all words but I dont know grammer well. So, I have to write you a little about my situation. As you know I live in town that named Mishkino. It's a very small town and only a couple of people here have their own phones and Internet access. But we have Internet club here and its very popular. The only way for me to write you is to get here and pay for time at computer to write you. But I so happy to do it! I printed your letter and I will read it more carefully at home with dictionary, when I will have more time. I hope its ok, but I can miss some of your questions, please don't worry, I will write answer in one of my next letters. And sometimes (for example some parts of this letter I will prepare at my work and just then type it to you).  

So I think I have to tell you more about me and what I am doing here. I can't describe myself, its not easy but I will write you all that my friends say. They say, that I am very cheerful, attractive and devoted woman, and I will not leave my friend in trouble. I do not smoke and I don't drink often. I can drink Champaign, vine or a little bear. But I don't drink a lots, only sometimes at  holidays. I was not married and I have no children. I like only honest and open people even if its bad.

My father works likes driver in hospital. He has a lot of business trips. They are not very far, but sometimes he trip to Ufa. Everybody knows him in my town. I have no mother. Its not easy for me to say about it. She died when she gived birth to me. My father love her very much and its a very big loss for him. I know a little about she, only from my father told me. When I was a young girl I lived with my father. And all home businesses depended on me. That's why I think I am independent woman. I am proud for this, because it helped me to find out how to cook and how to make home business. I like to cook very much and I am cooking always only b  myself. I like to cook something unusual. I like to  prepare fish and meat delicious for my guests and guests of my father at holidays. He always asking  me to help him because he know that i coocking very good. Thank you for your letter. I becoming attached to your letters and I like it very much. I was very glad to receive your photos. I like it very much and it has made me happy! Can you write me more about your work? What is most intresting in it? How do you spend your free time? I was born at Mishkino town. My mother was born there and lived there for all her life. My father took me out there for not having trouble thoughts about my mother. I like my town Mishkino very much. I have no brothers and sisters. I have only a cousin she lives in Moscow now. Her name is Nadia.

Now I am working as seller - adviser at biggest company at our city.  This isfirm that sells furniture. My duties are to show furniture to clients, to tell th m all about it, to take orders. I cant say that I like my work very much, but my heads very proud for me, they always say that I am best. They are very good and strong people and I like them a lot. My work is not very far from me, and I always go there by myself. And how long from your home your work is situated?

And some words about my town. My town is not very big. We have no big houses there and the largest house 9-floor building. But our town is enough green and nice. Its situated near the Ufa river so we have lots of fishmen. It is not very noisy town. We like our town very much.

So, I would like to tell you about how I get idea to start to write you. The reason is I met one of my old girlfriends, which was my classmate. We spoke a lot and she was very happy and told me her story. One day she with our girlfriends comes to Internet club just for kidding. They did not know lots about Internet. They asked a manager of Internet club what they could do their interesting. He shows them one of Internet dating cites. My girlfriend (Galina) wrote only one not serious letter to a man from United States, Illinois. She did not wait something seriouse. Then she began to go every day and write him. She did not let her girlfriend to come with she. And after one month of communicating she told them that she will go to USA soon and that she love that man. She went to USA for one month and when she returned she were happiest woman of the world. I did not see her such happy before! I was really shocked. It looked like a fairy tale. I was speaking a lots with her and I was so surprised to knew  that would like to marry and to come to USA for all her life. I asked her why she did not choose Russian man. She said that American men are better then Russian and that does not drink a lots. They more polite, culture, and kind. They more oriented to a family then Russian. She said, that she had no any  problems with living there and she will not share her Stephan with someone else. He is 49 years old, and Galina is very happy with him. She is 35. She says that difference in ages is not  just a little problem. She has advised me to choose only American man.  I thought more then one year and only now I know, that I am ready to fallow her advise. We have a great and very nice street at my town and I using it to go home. Air smells very tasty and sky is very nice those days. I like to look very much there. What seasons do you like more?  I would like to know more of your hobbies. Do you like anymals? What anymals do you like more? I have a cat at my home. I call it Eldosik. It can dance when I turn on music on and take his forward paws in my  fingers. I hope to show it someday to you.  What kinds of sport do you like more? Now in Russia sport become more and more popular. Best of all I like valleyball, waterpool (pool), swimming, bicycle. Please tell me more about you, what do you like more? Music… I like RHCP (do you know it?), Scorpions, J.Lo, Tony Braxton and a lots of Russian groups but I dont sure that you heared it. For example Kino, Splin, Mumii troll' and a lots of other. What films do you like more? I like Titanic! What new films now there? About flowers… I like chrysanthemums, lilies, snowdrops, camomiles and roses. Do you like flowers? Which flowers do you like more?  At all my life I had only two boyfriends. I am very attached person and if I becoming love  someone I am ready to be with him for all my life. I always thinking that if people love each other they have to fogive another's mistakes. My first  boyfriend was at school till second year of univercity. Then he had to leave with his parents to Ukraine, and we left. We was a good friends, and he wrote me couple of letters but now he is married. We lived like a brother and sister. Then I met another boy, but after three months of communicating he became to drink a lot and became very ungry for anyone. He leaves from univercity and he lies me a lot. I did not imagine what happened with him. Thenthey take him to army and after last talk with him, I understood, that its not my choice. I dont think that he loved me. Anyway I would not like to continue any relations with him and to say a true, I would not like to have any relations with any Russian man. My dear Rick!!!!!
Today I just can't wait to read your mail! Its seems it become mean for me more and more! So, how are you today? I am really surprised how Internet helps us to get close! Now I so thanks to my girlfrind and I am so sad that I didnot know you early! I become so attached to your letters! Thank you, I enjoy your photos very much!

Today I did not work. That's why my aunt and I make general cleaning of house. We do it every three-month and it takes whole day. I like to make cleaning with aunt. She is very hardworking woman and to clean house with her is very chearful. We always like to be in company of each other. We spoke a lot and I told her about our relations. I said her that I did not believe it early and  I am so happy to see that it works now! She was very surprised and wishes us luck and she hopes that our relations will grow up in future in more seriouse. Also we do small cleaning every week by Saturdays. Today we wash windows, walls, floors, and cleaned carpets. It was really easy for me to do it thinking about you. Today we decided to change a carpet in a bedroom, so  we needed to change pinth. When we broke old, we finded od wooden board. The house of my aunt is very old, so there are a lot of such boards. Under this board I founded old coin. I was really curiouse  what does it mean and my auntadvise me to go to specialist. He told me that its very valueable coin which is dated 1704, its 1 ruble. I was really happy to know it. It has great quality. He told me that it may costs from 400 till 700 dollars USA. And they said that it can cost more at some other countries. I decided to save it for future. I hope that sometime this coin will help me.  

My dear Rick, its a little confuse me, but I would like to share my dream with you. Today night I saw that we sat together at a coast of a big lake. I have not seen this lake early, but it was so beautiful and quiet, and barrels an easy warm breeze. We looked at night sky and we see nice moon and a lots of stars which was reflected in a mirrow of water. It was so good and I feeled your strong arms on my shoulders. We spoke about us and about our feelings to each other. I imagined that we had to tell each other something important, that will change all our future. But at this moment I waked up but I had impression from this dream for a long time. It was so real, that when I understood that it's only a dream, I was very sad. I have never feeled  such feelings. And I believe that someday this dream become true!  

My dear Rick, I often think about you and about our relations. It seems to me that every day we become closer. We know more about each other and I like all that you wrote me. of 23DEC04; Pg. 1, Irina Galkina was writing to "Steve" (per the 23DEC
Update) and has re-surfaced in American Singles again. She contacted me in
the American Singles E-Mail under handle "51088870" and to contact her at
her e-mail address she left. She had no photo in her profile. In AS she
is now going by Oksana. In fact Irina Galkina was writing to me last
November, but never got a penny, and those of you contacted by her or any
of her previous aliases, will most likely be hit with this new 'disguise'.
The address is oxxxy@inbox.ru. and she sent different photos which I have
attached below. I have only received two letters, but I jumped on the
classic signs of a scammer, (she sent both letters on the same day, broken
home, etc.) then I came in here and sure enough found duplicate letters.
The two letters that I have pasted below, are almost verbatim to the ones
"Steve" reported and you put in your 23DEC04 Update. Just a 'heads up' and
new photos, as I have not seen these photos in any of the updates here.

I think I'll tell her I'm already in love on the 3rd letter and get her to go to Western Union and let her get $1.00, and have the authorities waiting.

I was very surprised to get your answer! Unfortunately I don't know a lots about you, but I hope to know more! It's a very small town, its situated about 2150 km from Moscow t  the  east. There are no much big cities near it. The largest is Ufa. And what about your city? I graduated from our States University, which is situated in Ufa. My specialty is economical managment. Hello Mike!
I so ready today to receive a mail from you! And I so glad to see, that you received my mail and answered! Thank you for pics. I like it very much. And Iso happy that you understood my entire letter! I would like to continue our correspondence and I hope you too! So, I will write you more.  Dear Mike, I understand most in your letter! But I not sure now I have no much time to read it more carefully. I undesrstood all words but I dont know grammer well. So, I have to write you a little about  my situation. As you know I live in town thatnamed Mishkino. It's a very small town and only a couple of people here have their own phones and Internet access. But we have Internet club here and its very popular. The only way for me to write you is to get here and pay for time at computer to write you. But I so happy to do it! I printed your  letter and I will read it more carefully at home with dictionary, when I will have more time. I hope its ok, but I can miss some of your questions, please don't worry, I will write answer in one of my next letters. And sometimes (for example some parts  of this letter I will prepare at my work and just then type it to you).  So I think I have to tell you more about me and what I am doing here. I can't describe myself, its not easy but I will write you all that my  friends say. They say, that I am very cheerful, attractive and devoted woman, and I will not leave my friend in trouble. I do not smoke and I don't drink often. I can drink Champaign, vine or a little bear. But I  don't drink a lots, only sometimes at holidays. I was not married and I have no children. I like only honest and open people even if its bad.  My father works likes driver in hospital. He has a lot of business trips. They are not very far, but sometimes he trip to Ufa. Everybody knows him in my town. I have no mother. Its not easy for me to say about it. She died when she gived birth to me. My father love her very much and its a very big loss for him. I know a little about she, only from my father told me. Now my father has another family, but we love each other very much and I am always going to him at weekends. Now I living with my aunt.

When I was a young girl I lived with my father. And all home businesses depended on me. That's why I think I am independent woman. I am proud for this, because it helped me to find out how to cook and how to make  home business. I like to cook very much and I am cooking always only by myself. I like to cook something unusual. I like to prepare fish and meat delicious for my guests and guests of my father at holidays. He always asking me to help him because he know that i coocking very good. I hope I can be good housewife.
