I am a 52 year old divorced male in the USA (Utah). Here we go again. I was first contacted by this scammer on March 1, 2005 through the Yahoo personals site. There was a phoney profile set up showing Miami Florida as the city of residence. Soon after the first message was sent the profile was deleted. The e-mail address used for this scam was lenusik437@hotmail.ru This is the typical scam - money for visa, airfare, etc.. I was asked to send 1700 dollars by Western Union for documents and airfare. What follows are some of the letters and a few of the pictures.
I have filed numerous abuse reports to Yahoo personals on the many scammers that have used their service to contact me and the details about how these scams work. I have strongly suggested measures they need to take to help put an end to this. On each one they send me the same form letter thanking me for reporting possible abuse and that they will investigate it. So far Yahoo has done absolutely nothing to stop this epidemic of scammers on their site. If nothing else they need to post prominent scam warnings. When MatchDoctor.com did this on their site they virtually eliminated the problem. I have told Yahoo that they need to act on this quickly or they could end up facing a massive class action lawsuit. It is unconscionable that they have allowed this to go one for so long and have failed to do anything about it. They are, in effect, aiding and abetting internet fraud and they should be held to account for it! Even as I am writing this report I have just gotten another contact by a Russian scammer on Yahoo personals! James G. (USA)

I have not sent any money and thought something was funny when I offered to buy her ticket to be picked up at the airport if she got her visa and passport taken care of and she did not mention that again, only the money to the agency. Anyway, you guys saved me some buck and I hope the other pictures of her will help save someone else. She had me going but it was just too good to be so I looked around and found this site with her pictures on it. Thanks. I was searching for information on a poem that she had written me (she has not asked for money yet) when I stumbled upon your website and literally found the emails she had been sending me verbatim! I was shocked... once the shock went away, anger set in. I'm completely furious as I have never been lied to quite like this in my entire life.
