Thanks to you, I was not deceived out of money also! This person never gave me a correct mailing address or phone number to get in contact with her. They were asking for money for a Visa. I recognized the inconsistencies in answering my questions and this became suspicious to me.

I figured it to be a scam and started searching and found your site.Sure enough I have found 2 of the three so far. I hae not lost any money on these but want to let others know. My name is Dan H., My girl was suppose to arrive and did not. the airline said she was booked but never paid for the ticket. Yes I am a dumb ass and sent her money before I read your antis cam guide. When I arrived back home I received an email from her email address but, it was someone else informing me that she was beaten badly and is in the hospital. They informed me that she asked them to contact me and will again when she asks them too. Also that she will contact me in two to three days and that she says she will fly to me soon. I am so confused, if it is a scammer it is not real of course, if she has been hurt I feel awful. Either way right now I don't know and I feel Awful, not to mention the emotional letdown of her not arriving at the airport. Her name is Tanya Dolganova, and last I knew she was travelling alone in Moscow, this was April 19th at 22:00 hours I was told she was attacked. I do not know what to do anymore. I recieved around 10 pictures. She emails you long letters about her life, her past, and how horrible it is living in Russia. Be warned, she can email you for long periods of time without any mention of money. All of a sudden, she will 'fall in love with you'. Then ask for money for visa/passport to be sent by Western Union to come to America. She will usually avoid direct questions you ask her, but not all the time. Lets put a stop to this scam artist. Hello, I wanted to report Veronica for what looks like continued attempts at Internet fraud and theft. Initially she sent me a very similar email to what was reported on your site by another person. She sent many letters and pictures; I have attached a few. From the beginning it seemed that her letters were prewritten but with language differences I continued to respond also assuming the possibility of using a translator once for a few responses so I went along. Over several months I really never expressed real interest in her other then just chatting, at the time of her first letter I was corresponding with someone else. I was aware of your site as far as checking for scammers but I did not find any information on her so I continued to chat with her. Veronica’s letter were infrequent at best, sometimes she would email me a few times a day and then nothing for sometime, usually a week or two. She had the standard scammer reasons; she was in the hospital, which was where she discovered her love for me, problems with internet and phone and spam mail stuff. I asked her several questions that she did not directly answer; currently I am trying to find out more about her so local government can prosecute her. Because I asked direct questions I doubt she will answer or send anymore mail. If she does, I will forward her information to the appropriate people. Her letters are now beginning to ask for money, which of coarse is what a scammer will do, nothing as specific as the other person has reported but the order of his letters looks very very similar so if she writes me agin I am sure I will receive the same letter that the other person had. I have sent her none nor will I send anyone money but I am sure someone else might. The thing that I noticed was after she put my name in the letters, there was always several spaces for more letters before punctuation, as to cut and paste information. She just recently mentioned that I said I loved her, which I never did and what looked like I agreed to send her money which I didn't do either. Based on her responses, she is communicating with many people and forgetting who she is responding to when she emails, not a good sign. Guys use your heads, people can not be bought and if you are sending money abroad you’re being silly. Don’t buy into the hope for love-based on your loneliness and send cash to someone. We know that Russian and Ukraine people are economically depressed, but saving the beautiful girl from oversees with a few hundred dollars will not happen. You need to go there for any real hopes. Now, keep in mind as you read this she is sending these same or similar letters to others at the exact same time.

I have told my grandmother how our relations grow and that we love each other. We once again talked about our meeting with you. She said, that she is sincerely glad for us with you my loved XXXX . As for our meeting. Yesterday I visited a travel company where my mother's good friend works. I spoke with her about our meeting. Her name is Larisa. Larisa said me that I have to ask you several private questions. After you answer these questions Larisa will make all documents in short time. Larisa said that will try to make a trip as cheap as possible. Here are the questions I want to ask you: 1 What is your full name. 2 What is your full home address (including country, city, etc) 3 What is your phone number. (May be Larisa will contact you) 4 What is the city and the name of the airport in which it will be convenient for you to meet me. We should coordinate exact time of our meeting. The agency in which I have addressed works already for a long time and it guarantees to us our meeting. Larisa explained me that they will prepare all necessary documents for our meeting (the passport, the insurance, air tickets and the visa). I should know your exact decision about us and about our meeting. And I want to ask you one more time: Are you really ready to help me with part of money for the trip to you?
