My name is Jeff. This woman contacted me on Match.com using somebody elses account. Said she liked my pictures, and her friends have come to America and she wanted to do the same. I did not get scammed but she tried. I will send the first and last letter. If you need more let me know. Within 9 letters she was in love, wanted to be my husband, then got this great idea to get a tourist visa and come here. In her last letter she shows me all the expenses, says she can't pay it all and can I send her 500 dollars. I have only been able to find her so far on a flower agency blacklist where somebody tried to send her flowers and the address was not correct. When I insist on meeting her in Moscow several times she stops writing. Her bank information she sent me is a valid bank in Penza. This woman's pictures and story should be posted because she is very good at writing letters. I am a 36 y.o. self employed American white male. I was contacted by a Russian woman on the Yahoo Personals by the name of Nadezhda Gugina. She uses the e-mail address (nadia@medren.com). It was the same old story. Her profile said she lived in Virginia but she said she actually lived in Baykalovo, Russia. She said she worked in the dental field. She had no phone no web cam no other way to communicate with me. I didn't believe her for a minute. I had some fun with it and was waiting for the money request. I spoke with her everyday for a month. Every day an e-mail and a photo (until her camera broke). She fell in love with me in 30 days. (Imagine that). Her e-mails were pretty standard and matched a lot of the ones on the blacklist. She hocked all of her jewelry for half of her ticket but needed the rest which was $708USD. I told her on more than one occasion that I would never send money to some one I have never met. I told that I purchased a ticket to visit her in Russia and she quickly told me how there are many criminals in Russia waiting to rob foreigners and it would not be safe for me. I did not see the pictures I have of her on the blacklist but they will be now. She also e-mailed me a picture of her VISA. I can't believe that people would actually send money to someone without doing some research on them or where they are from. It's a real shame too because now there are going to be pictures of this pretty girl plastered all over this blacklist. I actually learned a lot about Russia and Russian people. It seemed that her profile is hidden and no photo. The letter writer claimed to be Valentina from Rikasikha, Russia. We corresponded for about two weeks. She never asked for money from me until the last one but I became suspicious when she never answered my questions. I found the same letters she sent to me on this website scamming someone else. He was surprised, and said, that I have to take this coin with me and in America this coin can cost more then 2000 dollars depending a place of selling. And he advised me to ask money from you. I should be sat next her in hospital. She was badly. I could not depart from her. I every second spent with her. To me too it was very bad, that so has taken place with mum. I very much - very much worried for mum. To me it was very terrible for her. I could not find to myself a place. Mum for me is very dear. She is my closest person. You did not live in Russia and do not know, how here it is bad. Here all to spit on you! I went to various structures, that they would give me of money for treatment of mum, or helped me with it. But all have turned away from me! You know, how it was hurt to listen to it. In Russia there is no compassion to elderly and sick people! It very awfully to live in this country.
