Hello my dear Andy. What all this pleasure to receive from you the letter. Only It is not a pity that I can write to you every day. I am a single father, white American, 47 years old, self-employed. I received an email on an internet dating site (Match.com) from someone claiming to be "Marina Averkieva" living in a Noyabrsk, Russia, on Popova street, 5-12. THE PICTURES ARE THE SAME AS THOSE POSTED ON PAGE 353 (by Joe) who apparently was represented to be Anna Shanbunian from Stirlitamak, Russian. She later gave her email address to correspond on outside of the Match network, and it originated on Yahoo.com. The emails sent basically said she was a surgeon, 34 years old, earning only $200/month, and having a birthday in early May, and she wanted to be with me on her birthday, and claimed she was lonely and had no family living. I suspected this was a scam, and started corresponding to confirm I was correct. Ultimately, this person wanted to come to the US, and said her travel agent would be sending me information. When that information came, it was from Global Travel Agency, and of course, requested $900 for visa and airfare, to be wired into the account of businessman Ivan Zinovyev, Surgut, Russian Federation. Needless to say, I did not send any money. I am going to try to copy the substance of the letter and wire transfer information below. Also, I knew the visa process takes some time, and the "travel agency" indicated it could be accomplished within a couple of weeks.
