AmericanSingles.com. Her initial contact e-mail to me was from a Yahoo.com email site and raised a couple of suspicious red flags, and by the time I was on letter number two, I recognized it as a scam. I came across your blacklist and started checking the photographs first – that was all I needed as I got a hit on the first pass blacklist and found identical letters, almost word for word. She has written to me four times in the space of only 5 days. She started to request money in the last letter (#4) for a trip to see me. Needless to say, I did not send the money. I have informed Yahoo.com of the misuse of their emails. Here are several pictures of her. She is using the name of

I am a single, white, professional American male of 46, and I received an email about two months ago from “Elena,” who said she found my name through an undetermined internet singles website. We exchanged emails virtually daily for a couple of weeks before she began professing her love for me and desire to be with me. I had told her that she could not possibly love me without having at least met me first, but still she continued. She said that she wanted to come and visit me, but only had $240.00, and she asked if I could help with the rest. Foolishly, I did. I initially sent her $900.00 for the one-way airfare (she indicated that she would take care of the visa with her money). Then, she informs me that she was told that she could not leave unless she had a return-flight scheduled…they told her that “everybody knows that.” So, I sent an additional $700.00. Everything had apparently been arranged. She was scheduled to fly in to the airport here on June 8, and I was just on my way to pick her up when she called my cell phone and briefly said that she was in Moscow and could not leave that day. The rest of her message was unintelligible. A day later, I received an email in which she explained that she was held up in customs due to carrying an antique – an old ruble that she had intended to present me with – and she could not take antiques out of the country. She said that she was detained by the police, during which time she had made that former phone call to me, and ultimately was not allowed to leave. She then wrote that her father had had a heart attack, and when he was released from the hospital he would help her to pawn her jewelry to make up for the lost plane fare to Moscow. Of course, she could only come up with a small portion of the amount of money needed. For the duration, she very rarely answered any direct questions I asked, always professing her love for me, and actually referring to me as “my husband Charles.” I had even requested that my sister write to her to indicate her welcome here – she never replied to that email. Since that time, her messages became much briefer, and then stopped altogether. Her initial email address was elenka@poschta.ru, but she said she had to change it due to problems with her server, curiously after she had received the money from me (I wonder if she bought a personal computer for herself). My love Charles!!! It was really terrible. Now I am at home and all is fine with me. So, I went to Moscow and I did not get any problems with my trip to Moscow. It was seems like all is fine. I have not a lots of bags, I could wear it by myself. Then I used metro and autoline to get to airport. I got to airport without a problems too but there are only one problems is I had only 40 minutes. I filled declaration and began to entering to airlines. At the custom they asked me to show my bag which was with me and found a coin. They called expert and asked me why I do I need to take it with me. I answered that its a present to you and I would like to bring it to you. They said, that I could not bring antiques to another country and I will be arrested. I was really shocked! I could not imagined that it could be! I was shouted and swored a lots and they turning alarm and some of police men went me to police department. I feeled so bad, I have never feeled so! I asked to call you but the officer there rejected. So there are was another officer who looks more kind and when older officer went out he let me call you but quick! I was so sad ant to say a true, I do not remember well what I was spoking... I was really shocked. So, they took a coin for make expertise and they took my ticket to annulate it or something else. They asked me to fill three documents and only at the evening they let me out! I was so sad that I had no someone near me!!! I so wanted to speak with you or my father to ask you what I have to do. When I returned to home my father was so badly surprised me. He saw how I am worry and calmed me a lots. Then he went and returned with a lawyer and they again asked me a lots of questions. The lawyer said that police are make mistake and they could not do it, but they are very bad in Moscow and it will be very difficult to punish them. I have been through this before with scammers from there and so I knew what was up from the very beginning and have been just stringing them along to see how far it will go before they pop the matter of money. I read the letters from one lady going by the name now of Irina Chernenko but I found her on your site listed with one alias as Anna Shabunina. Also, the other one I have just begun hearing from she is using the name of Tatyana (no last name given yet) but it would appear they are both using the same letters with little differences in them to keep them from being identical. Now I am not a stupid man and knew better right away not to be sending them any money and so far have not nor will I. I just want to forward their letters to you and you can post their pictures and letters as well as my letter here explaining how this came to be, also the pictures of the light blonde hair are those of the one calling herself Tatyana, the pics of the darker blonde are those of Irina a.k.a.
