Kiev, Ukraine .The letters are written in "cut and paste" mode but still in some way
believable. The last one I got the last one March,16,2002 with a request for $800 for visa and plane
tickets. The letters are almost identical to the one received by Steven from
Barcelona. Please compare...Just with the money request I got her last name and my internet research ended right here saving me $870 ...Thanks Steve!

that there are men so desperately lonely and people so vile and base as to
take advantage of such humanly lonely people. Lena is such a bad bird.

I don't how "Lena" or "Kate" found my email - but they did. She called
herself Lena in March of 2002 but in one letter she referred to herself as
Kate - so this indicates that this love-scammer uses multiple identities.
Anyway, I never believed her to be genuine as I thought her stories read
like lies that targeted white, 40'ish American men. She claimed to be "inexperienced
sexually" - but eager to learn (with me) and a baker of "tasty pies" - gee what
more could a man want? Judging from her lacey photos, my girlfriend and I
agreed that instead of a pie baking virginal image - Lena more looked like a
hooker with a bad attitude. I also thought her letters were horse hockey yet
funny and so I played her out. My daughter suggested that I write her a letter
but say 'bad things' about me in the middle to see what she said - so I did.
My reply letters to Lena started off like love letters but then I threw
in things like I was bald-headed [I am], fat [I am not], broke [I am], and
unemployed [occasionally]. Once, I wrote Lena and told her that if she
wanted to be a New York bride she had to master 21 sewing stitches and there
would be a stitch exam upon her arrival. Sure enough, Lena wrote back
saying nothing about stitches or me being fat, bald, and broke but sent form
letters saying how delighted she was to read my letters and that soon we
would be together. So I think this person is doing a brisk email business
and didn't have time to personally read my replies beyond a few first sentences to give her a general
feeling. So I sent her a short letter that said something like:
"Lena, I you want to come to America start walking or get a night job. In
the mean time, please stop sending me ugly pictures."
I never heard from her again.

card as a proof that I'm able to pay for my expenses. As I know this
rule is applied only for Russian and other third-party countries' citizens. I don't have to spend the
proof money, I must have them only to show their presence at custom-house.
My visa would be valid for 6 months and I would be able to prolong it for
another six months easily. And if we will decide to marry (I hope we will), I
will not have problems with visa anymore. I will need 2275 dollars to arrange
my arrival to you and I will be able to return 900-950 dollars. I hope
it would not be very expensive for you. I have found out that the
easiest and safest way would be send money by Western Union, using my
home address.

only thing that has changed is her ID# at AdultSingles, D699926, and maybe

letters are almost identical to ones I found from the same city, but with
different names and addresses. I found the identical 1st and 2nd letter
on the black list 12 hours AFTER I wired $100- for Internet access through
Western Union. 12 hours too late. This woman picked up the money 1 hour
after I wired it which makes me believe she is making regular pickups.
I met her through www.matchdoctor.com . I hope this helps someone from
making the same mistake I made.

The letter is the same than is on your blacklist as "Natalya Vinogradova
(Ivanovo, Russia)" I'm starting to think that these may be the same person
or persons running some sort of scam ring? It might be time to contact
Interpol or some other agencies to investigate this further. This appears to
be a prevalent problem if I have been contacted in only 3 short months by 4
or 5 scam artists. This seems to be a serious problem!

same. Disappointed, I stewed for a while, and didn't write her for a week, she
never wrote either. It's like there was an auto-reply! Finally, I sent her an

to a lovely Russian beauty called Julia and forwarded me her letter. So I
replied and Julia replied. Later Ludmila said she was about to launch her own
marriage site in 2 weeks, her email nwc_dating@fromru.com , and needed
US$50 for Julia's further correspondence. Having some experience with corresponding with Russian ladies, speaking some of the language,
traveled now twice to Russia, not too phased by the cultural differences and having
met 2 of them previously to this, I was not averse to the idea. So I forwarded
the money through Western Union, and subsequsntly never heard from Ludmila or Julia again. A condition of Ludmilas receipt was that she had to
show ID to collect her money !
But !!! I use Eudora Pro with some extra plugins, and a mac and was able to
trace the IP of the sender and traced her email and it did actually originated in
Archangelsk. Using some software called IP net monitor and IP netRouter, I
traced the ISP and telephoned the company in Archangelsk- some 17000km
from Nz !! I spoke to a director who aid his name is Alexander Liabzine and
told Alexander a thief was using his company to conduct illegal activites. I
threatend to inform my local Russian Embassy and his local Police- which I
did. Alexander promised full cooperation. I sent about 7 pages of information
to the Embassy as well as detailed pictures of the IP trace, Alexanders phone
and address, as well as all my correspondence with Julia, Ludmila and
Alexander.
Interestingly his internet company hosts an marriage agency
http://www.east-club.org/ - note the similarity with the bogus marriage agency
mentioned earlier here... and coincidentally 2 other Russian girls on this site
share the same postal address as my Julia. All the information I passed to my
Russian Embassy. From time to time some viruses got passed to me from Alexander- but my system is immune anyway, I asked Alexander why he was
doing this - 'a virus did it' he would reply. No problem for me I ignored these.
I still have all the information about our correspondence, I archive almost
everything, but for the purposes of this site, have included screen shots only
and the pics of Julia. Unfortunately I have not heard from the Embassy and
have no further information about the identity of the thief. Do yourself a
favor - it will impress the Russain girls too - learn the language, and have some
knowledge of how their country works.

Letter to her brother after I sent her the money for her flight to USA
Hello Antony again! How are you today? I am fine!!! Write you about your
daily life, I am always wondering to know all this kind of things. I am
doing ok, now my working day is almost finished and I am going to the sport
gym soon, I will meet Yuriy today and on this coming Saturday we are going
to watch baseball game with him and have a picnic with his family. And I am
very happy with that. I am enjoyong my time in USA very much!!! I love to
satyt here. The nature here is very beautiful, mouintain are very beautiful
over here, we have really freash air and wonderful autumn colors: a lot of
yeallow, green, red and brown. The sun is shining all day long and no wind,
very warm outside. Joan ( the woman with whom I live ) have wonderful new
house and car DODGE caravan new model, it is very comfortable, with few
conditionars in it and automatic transmission system. The car is really big
and comfortable, and I like to ride with her in it. She brings me always to
my working place orwherever I want. I adore to ride with her. Here the road
are really good to drive, very smooth and beautiful. I will live in the Vice
President's of company Hornover Direct where I work now house. I think it
will be great. That secon family is going to arrange abig birthday party for
me on the 5th of November, I am going to invite all my ukraian firends and
we will have real fun. I am sure we will have great time on my birthday. I

I sent her $500.00 for her flight to UK. I subsequently found out that she
used the money that I sent her for he flight money to go to America with her

sites under the name of Nataangel. She speaks perfect English but still asks
