I met a lady through paradise of angels internet dating, from an ad that was
placed on the match.com site and was contacted by the agency and the lady
advising that papers could be processed for her to travel here within a short
period of time and that she had already been approved for a student visa to
the US. Processing money was required $1850, and after funds were sent she
was in need of additional funds $1500 as required by US customs to depart
the Ukraine to the US to show that she had support when arriving here in the
US. This company gave me two reference individuals inside the US (NY &
CA) who spoke to me on the phone and claimed to be very satisfied customers of this agency and that I
would not have any difficulty with the transaction. I do have their emails, names and telephone numbers. I would
have never considered sending this money had these individuals not spoke so
highly of this business in Kiev, which makes me think that they had to be a part of this fraud. I have not been able to reach them or get a response from
them since all of this has collapsed, despite the fact that I have left phone
messages and emails for them. I have also not been able to get a response
from the paradise of angles people through numerous attempts within the past
couple of days via emails. They had indicated that the lady was confirmed on
a flight to washington Dc yesterday April 1, and I waited for four hours at the airport and no one showed up. When I was unable to get any response from the agency that I sent the money to, I began to search the internet for their web site if they had one and found the scam alert site, in which I located the
lady in question I was sending for. This is when I began to contact you for any
assistance. The names associated with the Paradise of Angels internet club are
as follows: Vladimir Orlova, president, Tatyana Perlotva, acct mgr, Valentina
Fal (person who accepted western union wires) Pavel Alekseev, vice-president and oksana stolyarenko (lady who

people. The body of each email was identical. Sveta is using different pictures to what I could find on your website.
In fact I'm not even sure that the photos are of the same person!

when it was too late. What really seemed weird about this woman was after
she scammed me she sent me an e-mail apologizing. Isn't this unheard of? I
had placed an add on Lovecity.com and she contacted me. Neither of us had
a picture on the site. At first the letters seemed that she wanted to be friends
and then she started falling in love. Her letters were not explicit though and I
thought of her as a wholesome person. After about 7 letters ( about 3 weeks)
she started to fall in love. After about 12 letters she wanted to fly to me but
didn't know how to. After about 15 letters I had sent the money for a visa
($248.00). Then next was an airflight of ($620.00) and last was an insurance
of $550.00 but I told her I didn't have the money so a few days later she said
she borrowed $200.00 from friends and would only need $300.00. All of these were sent by Western Union.

I do not have a copy of the first E-mail but I have included copies of the E-mails asking for money. The E-mail address she used is tanya_pg343@pochtamt.ru Tatyana stated in her E-mail that she lived in Omsk where she worked as a hairdresser. But, after sending her money and suspecting a scam I contacted Western Union. I discovered she had picked up the money in
Yoshkar-Ola. I must admit after reading some of the letters in your database I find huge similarities. I only wish I would have discovered this web site before sending money. Actually I did do a search on "Scams" before sending money, but came up with nothing concerning Russian women. Later I changed my search to, "Russian Scams" and your web site came up. I am following the steps outlined in your instructions in "what to do if you're scammed". My questions are: Do any of these women ever get arrested and prosecuted? Do the Russian women with honest intentions ever contact men through services such as Match.com, Kiss.com, etc? Here are some of the letters and photos.

I really did become intrigued and fascinated with her letters and photos. I did
send money. I am waiting on Western Union to obtain a copy of the signed
receipt. Then I will submitted my application to the Russian Embassy to request
prosecution for fraud.

Agency web site. "yulia" wrote to me and each letter she made sure she
included a photo of herself. By the 6th or 7th letter she was claiming to be in
love with me. She says the agency told her a visa would cost her $300.00 and
she told me to wire her the money to her account at the Guta Bank in
Arkhangelsk. I did some checking the visa cost for multi visits for one year
is $150.00 and then the Unites States Embassy site in Russia clearly states that a
tourist visa for a single women for russia is not to be gotten in almost every
chance. I told her about the $150.00 cost of the visa and she wrote back
telling me, "lets buy the visa and be together" The next letter I told her that the
embassy told me to ask her for her work address and telephone number and
her home address. "since she did not have her own phone" I also told her the
embassy told me that she would only be able to get a visa as my wife to be
and that I would have to prove to them that we had spent time together in
Russia. Guess what. I have not heard from her since. Surprised, not at all
thanks to your web site. Also she liked to mention about going to church and
thanking God for putting me into her life. She claimed to work in an automobile
engine factory. I'm planning on traveling to Russia to see a female friend of mine this summer and would have made the trip
to her town to visit to meet her.
