I was contacted by a girl named "irina
alekseenko", who i have later found out is really "irina
koslova", some time i late january or february. we e-mailed each other
almost everyday.this went on for about a month or so. when i thought i might
want this person to share my life with i relayed my intention and she then
told me of the cost, which was $440 for the needed documents and $1000 for two tickets.
a total of $1440. i did send her $100 dollars i won on a pulltab and $50
for her birthday. i told her that i may have to sell off a few things to get the money,
but would spare no cost. we continued to correspond but the e-mails became fewer. i
should have known then but she had some excuse and i bought it. i did send
$440 for th3e documents, but when western union called and said the money had
not been picked up i thought it was some error on their part, failed to deliver
telegram. so i contacted a person through "icq" in the city she had told me lived
in, kazan, and asked them to get word to her that the money was there and
waiting. i later found out that there was no such address, the street had been
renamed, lenin st. 31 apt 14, and that there were no apartments but and
academy of science building. i chalked up it to not knowing where to go.
i should have stopped right there. eventually she did recieve the money but only after i
discoverd this site, completely by accident. i wish i had gone with my gut and
stopped the money transfer but i gave her the benefit of the doubt. the good part
is the $1000 i borrowed from a friend i did not send and returned the money.
what gave her away was while reading the letters in this site the ones i got from her are
alomost word for word identical. she did send pics and i will forward them along
with all the letters.......thank you for this i wish i had known sooner. but all is a
